 | A Complementary high fibre feed for horses and ponies in light work. Specifically formulated to replace a portion of the forage and/or concentrate in the daily diet in dust-free form. The inclusion of maize, wheat and barley, all steam-cooked and flaked provides the energy required yet avoids the high spirits in horses associated with feeding top quality oats. The benefit is further enhanced by the inclusion of a unique blend of garlic and herbs whose reputed "settling and appetising" properties are well documented.
Protein 10%, Oil 4%, Fibre 15%, Ash 7%, Moisture (max) 15%, Copper (as Cupric Sulphate) 20mg/kg. Vit A 7,500 i.u./kg, Vit D3 1,000 i.u./kg, Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) 100 i.u./kg. Rates of Feeding:
1 - 2 kg per day when replacing "bulk" feeds (e.g. sugar beet pulp, bran or chaff products.)
2 - 3 kg per day when fed as the sole concentrate to ponies or idle horses.
3 - 4 kg per day to horses in light/medium work, as a proportion of their daily concentrate intake.
